Hopefully arriving in late 2016 will be a new orchestral piece I'm working on, called Ama Dablam ("Mother's necklace"). Ama Dablam is a peak in eastern Nepal that, although not the loftiest, is treasured for both its beauty and challenge. If the piece does its job it will bring to life a trip into the Himalayas, mingling with the people of that land, and eventually approaching and climbing the mountain itself.
